- My final proposal
- Casting for my music video
- A contract of employment
- My risk assessment
I delivered my final proposal, discussing everything that I needed too such as my choice of song, themes I want to explore and why I chose this song. As well as this, I engaged my audience by handing out storyboards that I had drawn as well as annotated lyrics so we could discuss the connotations of the song. From this proposal I received feedback from my classmates who gave me both praise and constructive criticism which I will use to further improve my production.
Casting
Casting for my music video was very simple, I had previously asked an old friend if they'd like to be part of my production. I chose this person because they are taking A Levels in acting and would be the best person for the job. To confirm their position I created a contract of employment discussed below.
Contract of Employment
I created a contract of employment detailing that my actor is to receive no pay and are acting purely voluntarily. It also detailed the length of their contract as being indefinite/until the filming phase was finished.
Risk Assessment
Before going out to film my music video I had to create a risk assessment which acknowledges all the potential risks, their severity and the safety procedures I will put in place to prevent the risk and also how to respond to it. I did this by creating a grid with a form of scoring system to determine the severity of each risk and then columns detailing the potential risk and what my response will be.
