King Of Anything - Locations

For my Music Video I used Google Maps to think of possible locations to film in and later went on to look at them in person. The location i decided to use for my music video was my friend's house for the indoor scenes and the surrounding area for the outside scenes.

One of the outdoor scenes involved filming underneath a train bridge as i felt that this location really added to the theme of the video as it so big it is 'swallowing' the artist. It also leads on to a long, barren and winding path which I used to represent the inner turmoil the artist is facing.

The main performance scene will take part in the corner of a field, with an old brick wall as the backdrop. The wall is old and crumbling and the nature surrounding the artist is overgrown. I have chosen this environment specifically for that reason, as like the previous location it is a visual representation of the artists mind and emotions. These locations are a way of me introducing semiotics into my music video.

The house that I'll be shooting in is an old house which is obvious through the architecture. It gives off a feeling of distress from the outside due to its old nature and I believe this sets the perfect scene for filming my music video.
