Creative Journey - Entry 3

For this entry I will cover:

Mind Maps


To get a basic idea of what narrative route I wanted follow I created multiple mind maps, developing each one further than the other. I separated each mind map into separate areas so I could get a clear vision in my mind of what I wanted to do.


Target Audience


For my research into target audience I looked into the basic social classes (A,B,C1,D/E) so I could define a social class as a basic starting ground for my primary audience. After this as a class, we looked into social classes defined by Mosaic and what type of things they would watch, listen to etc. Then finally, to go into lots of detail we looked at Young and Rubicam's 64 social classes. From these 64 I was able to pull out 2 that would be my primary audience and this allowed me to develop in depth examples of what types of food they'd eat, the car they own, what they drink, how much money they have etc.


Due to this research I have been able to develop a very clear and in depth audience for my production.
